The Edit Monaco

/ About the project
The Edit Monaco is a lifestyle platform founded by a visionary duo dedicated to curating the best of the principality across four distinct pillars: Explore, Eat, Style, and Wellness. The challenge was to build an editorial destination that felt as prestigious as Monaco itself, while maintaining a clear, navigable structure for a wide range of high-end content.
Our strategy focused on creating a "sense of place" through bespoke visual details. I spearheaded the branding for the platform, ranging from curated typeface selection to the creation of custom illustrations that add a layer of warmth and personality to the grid. A key innovation was the bespoke tagging system we designed—a visual callback to the iconic waypoint signs found throughout Monaco—which provides an intuitive and thematic way for users to filter through the platform's diverse categories. Alongside the tags, the gridded lines throughout the brand and website are a callback to the lines. on parasols found on the beaches in Monaco.
Working under the guidance of our Principal Designer at BX Studio, I led the comprehensive website design, ensuring the brand’s elegant identity was woven into every digital interaction. The resulting platform balances high-end editorial aesthetics with a functional, user-centric interface. The Edit Monaco is looking to launch in 2025 and establish itself as a definitive digital guide, offering a seamless and evocative experience for residents and visitors alike.
